Return & Refund Policy

At Mona's Artifacts, we take pride in offering carefully curated vintage, antique, and pre-owned decorative pieces. Due to the unique nature of these items, each piece is sold individually and may show signs of age and use that contribute to its character and authenticity.
By placing an order, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms:
1. Vintage & Antique Condition
All items sold by Mona's Artifacts are vintage, antique, or pre-owned unless otherwise stated.
These items may naturally exhibit age-related characteristics, including but not limited to:
- Craquelure (fine surface cracking)
- Minor chips or nicks
- Surface wear
- Patina
- Fading or discoloration
- Manufacturing irregularities consistent with age
- Previous restorations or repairs
Such characteristics are considered part of the item's history and are not regarded as defects.
2. Product Descriptions
We make every reasonable effort to accurately describe and photograph each item. Any known flaws or notable imperfections are disclosed whenever possible.
However, slight variations in color may occur due to lighting conditions and differences in screen displays. Measurements provided are approximate.
Customers are responsible for reviewing all photographs, descriptions, dimensions, and condition details before completing their purchase.
3. Returns & Exchanges
Due to the one-of-a-kind nature of our inventory, all sales are final.
We do not accept returns, exchanges, or cancellations for:
- Change of mind
- Incorrect purchase decisions
- Personal preference
- Minor age-related imperfections consistent with vintage or antique items
4. Damaged or Incorrect Orders
If your order arrives damaged during shipping or you receive the wrong item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery.
To assist with your claim, please provide:
- Your order number
- Clear photographs of the item
- Photographs of the packaging (inside and outside)
- Photographs of the shipping label
Failure to notify us within 48 hours may affect our ability to process a claim with the shipping carrier.
5. Shipping Damage
Where shipping damage is confirmed, Mona's Artifacts will work with the shipping carrier to resolve the matter. Depending on the circumstances, we may offer:
- A replacement (if available)
- Store credit
- A partial refund
- A full refund
The appropriate resolution will be determined after reviewing the claim.
6. Authenticity
Descriptions regarding origin, age, maker, manufacturer, artist, or materials are based on available markings, historical research, and our professional assessment.
Unless expressly accompanied by a certificate of authenticity, such descriptions represent our informed opinion and should not be interpreted as a formal guarantee.
7. Limitation of Liability
Once an item has been delivered or collected, Mona's Artifacts is not responsible for:
- Damage caused by improper handling or installation
- Wear resulting from normal use
- Environmental factors such as humidity, sunlight, or temperature changes
- Accidental breakage after delivery
8. Consumer Rights
Nothing in this policy limits or excludes any rights that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer protection laws.
